Rimage Hires Exner for European Leadership Position

MINNEAPOLIS - May 22, 2007 - Rimage Corporation (Nasdaq: RIMG) today announced it has hired Stefan Exner as managing director of Rimage Europe. The new position oversees every aspect of the company's operation in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

"Stefan with his wide management experience and industry knowledge will help the company to exceed its sales goals in this important region."

Exner, who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's European operation, has more than 20 years of international management experience serving high-tech companies. Exner began his career with IBM, where he held several positions in sales, finally as a sales director for Northern Germany. After leaving IBM he joined Sennheiser Electronic, a leader in the microphone and headphone business, with responsibility for worldwide sales and marketing. During his tenure, the company grew significantly and received several prestigious awards including the Emmy and the Grammy.

After leaving Sennheiser, Exner managed the financial turnaround of Baan, an enterprise application provider, with responsibility for Central and Eastern Europe. Immediately prior to joining Rimage Stefan was responsible for new business development for Phonak, a global leader in hearing instruments, serving markets like security, studio and sports with extremely small and mission critical communication devices.

Exner holds a combined Master's Degree in Economics and Engineering, He will be based at the company's European operations headquarters near Frankfurt, Germany.
