No printer was detected

  1. Ensure the printer AC power cord is securely connected at the printer.
  2. If the printer is a Prism printer, ensure the printer power switch is on.
  3. Ensure the USB, or parallel cable is securely connected to the printer.
  4. If you have an Everest printer, check the mode switch setting. It should be set to position 1.
  5. Open the Device Manager.
  6. Resolve any alerts or errors with the Ports or USB devices.
